Grothouse Design Contest Win an iPad!

Grothouse will be awarding an iPad to one homeowner and one professional designer.

Step 1: Simply like us on Facebook and post a picture or pictures of your room featuring a Grothouse product on the Grothouse wall. Include a brief description of 50 words or less of the Grothouse product and the room features. This contest includes any room in the house that features a Grothouse product.

Step2: Encourage your friends and family to “Like” Grothouse Lumber and “Like” your entry.

Beginning January 1, 2012 the kitchen with the most likes received by midnight EST on March 31, 2012. We will select two winning entries, one iPad will be awarded to a trade professional and one will be awarded directly to a homeowner. The photography submitted will become the property of Grothouse. Grothouse employees are not eligible. The photography of the two winning entries cannot be identical.

Timing: For consideration in the contest, the picture must be posted no earlier than January 1, 2012. On March 31, 2012 at midnight eastern standard time we will select the winner. The homeowner with the most “Likes” and the Kitchen Designer or Trade Professional photo with the most “Likes” will be awarded an iPad. We will not consider “Comments “into the calculation. We will notify the winner via Facebook. The iPad will be shipped within 30 days after receipt of the winning entries mailing address.

Helpful Hints: By taking good quality photographs you are improving your chances of winning. When photographing your room, turn on all the lights to avoid shadows. Avoid glare from windows by photographing at select times of the day when the sun is not shining directly into a window. De-clutter the space and limit the number of personal objects on countertops and tables. Avoid having people in your photos so the photography focuses on the space. Take pictures from many angles so you capture the feel of the entire space. Take close-ups of notable details.
