Below are various samples of Butcher Block Countertops with patterns and inlays manufactured by Grothouse. Our butcher block countertops are crafted in End Grain Construction. This style is incredibly durable, stylish and functional. Grothouse has the capability to produce the most complex patterns and designs in the wood surfaces market. The minimum thickness for the end grain style is 2 1/2″. This thick countertop permits the use of very ornate edge profiles. There is no maximum thickness or size. We have made butcher blocks that are three feet thick and twenty feet long. Grothouse Butcher Block Countertops are finished with Grothouse Original Oil™. They are not available to be finished with Durata® and cannot be stained. If you have any questions about Grothouse Butcher Blocks please feel free to contact us.

Random Mix construction is the most artful form of butcherblocks we create. Our craftsmen mix a variety of wood species in an arrangement that is visually pleasing to the eye. No two are alike.
